See Development, Inc. (SEE) was created in 1996 to provide the ‘best in the business’ event management services. In the last ten years, SEE has provided an array of event management and consulting services for clients as diverse as Verifone, World Resource Institute, University of Oregon, St. Paul Rheinfest, Oregon Truffle Festival and the Earth Council Alliance.

SEE’s President, Steven D. Remington, CFEE has 25 years experience in the events industry, with a background in advertising, sales, media & public relations as well as music promotion and production.  Steve currently serves as Chairman-elect of the International Festival & Events Association Foundation and is on the University of Oregon’s Professional Resource Council. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the Architecture & Allied Arts department, where he teaches graduate-level Event Management courses.  His workshops, seminars and one-on-one training have impacted hundreds of events across the country.

Key Client or Project Accomplishments

• Produced keynote dinner for World Resource Institute and Earth Council Alliance’s San Francisco World Environment Day 2005 roll-out collaboration with the Honorable Al Gore, UNEP Executive Director Klaus Toepfer, and Roots of Peace director Heidi Kuhn.
  
• Founded first Oregon Truffle Festival, partnering with Travel Oregon’s tourism department to develop and publicize new culinary tourism products.
  
• Co-founded and launched Portland’s Waterfront Blues Festival for Oregon Food Bank, now the largest Blues Festival on the West Coast.
