Oregon Truffle Festival

The Oregon Truffle Festival's early years have been a huge success and now, in the festival’s fifth year of operation, we can truly state that the event is the most informative and well attended (and first!) event of it’s kind in North America! Scheduled to be held next January 29-31, 2010, we continue to bring international journalists and participants from Japan, Italy, Germany, Australia, and Canada to the Truffle Festival! The festival has appeared in the Oregonian, Register-Guard, Gazette-Times, Portland Tribune, Capital Press and Eugene Weekly locally, as well as articles in the New York Times, Globe and Mail, Food & Wine, The Audobon Society and Time Magazine, as well as a Japanese, Canadian and Italian publication. The event’s Grand Truffle Dinner typically sells out each year, and the Truffle Cultivation Workshops had to turn away registrants (after increasing initial class-size estimates by 50%!). The festival has doubled in size, and garnered articles in Portland Magazine, EAT Magazine, The New Yorker and W Magazine. We expect the festival's growing reputation to continue to attract an audience of chefs, foodies, and international culinary aficionados, as well as international media attention.

This years’ event, scheduled for January 29, 30 & 31st, 2010, has already secured commitments from three top Pacific Northwest chefs including several James Beard Award Winners!

The Downtown Tempe Community, Inc., in conjunction with Kate Hastings & Associates, has secured SEE to help organize and implement the twice-annual Tempe Festival of the Arts. As Official Operations Director for Tempe Festival of the Arts since December, 2008, SEE will oversee all of the logistics for this wonderful event. Now in it’s 41st year of operation, the Tempe Festival of the Arts draws more than 200,000 people each show to Tempe’s Mill Avenue District! The next upcoming show is scheduled for December 4 – 6, 2009. For more information contact www.tempefestivalofthearts.com
